Sažetak
This paper presents the results of research conducted in 2005. and 2010. on the sample of 7th and 8th grade students of one elementary school in Split about the importance and aspects of Internet use in their leisure time. Although new technologies offer countless possibilities in the learning process, the results indicate a predominantly use of the Internet for entertainment and socializing as well as the higher prevalence of the Internet in today's teenagers leisure time in relation to teenagers five years ago, which is particularly reflected in the current importance of social networks (Facebook) into their online lives. As the leisure time is taking an increasingly important role in the life of every individual, the results indicate the need to increase its quality.
