Sažetak
In HEP – Training and educational center (HEP NOC) HV testing laboratory is used for periodical inspections of live work hot-sticks, insulating gloves, insulating footwear, insulating barriers, insulating covers and other live work equipment, along with other equipment used for “non-live” work. During past five years more than 4000 pieces of equipment has been tested and some interesting statistical conclusions, as well as personnel’s observations have been derived. Although the most of negative results are being a product of visual inspection, testing with AC voltage has also shown weak points on some products. This paper describes the most common mistakes made by users of equipment and gives feedback for equipment manufacturers. It also gives recommendations for periodical inspections for HEP.
