Sažetak
AIM: Purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between some morphological characteristic, power performance and endurance in female soccer player. METHODS: Twenty two elite female soccer players from Serbian A- national team (aged 23.95±4.52 ; height168.82±7.19 cm ; body fat 25.9±2.0) participated in this study. Players were tested for aerobic endurance (YYIRL1), countermovement jump without (CMJ), countermovement jump without and with arm swing (CMJZ), squat jump (SJ) and seven repetition jump (RJ7) during the assemble of the national team between two seasons. RESULTS: The test YYIRL1 shows very low correlation with all tested variables of power as well as with the test of strength endurance (p<0.05). There is significant positive correlation between body weight and body height (r=0.768) and between body weight and percentage of body fat (r=0.602). Negative correlation has been found between body fat and RJ7 (r=0.453, p<0.05) that can be explained by low physical preparation of female players and the fact that testing were performed in intermediate period. CONCLUSION: This research indicates that optimal physical match performance of female soccer players is important for high level competition. In addition, the power which is very important factor in female soccer isn’t correlated with specific soccer endurance at low preparated female players.
