Sažetak
The quality of communication plays the key role in developing partnership between educational institutions and parents. In accordance with the requirements of modern society, it is necessary to modify traditional forms of communication, and adapt them to the actual needs of participants. The educational institution official websites provide additional opportunities for communication improvement, and contribute to development of parental competences. The aim of this study was to determine to what extent and in which ways educational institution (preschools, elementary and high school) in Split use their official websites in realizing partnership and contact with parents. Content analysis of available educational institution official web sites showed that their potential is not recognized and used enough in creating partnerships between educational institutions and parents.
