Sažetak
A special clinical challenge in dental implantology is implanting in areas with extremely unfavorable situation. Those are the areas with vertically atrophic alveolar ridge, which leads to a situation when the recess of the maxillary sinus in lateral, and proximity of the nasal cavity in the anterior parts of the maxilla become special challenges for implantation. In the mandible the vertical atrophy in the lateral parts leads to the proximity of the alveolar nerve and, depending on the size of atrophy, inability to implant in one act.
