Sažetak
The paper presents the problem of the optimal design of axial-radial impeller in a centrifugal compressor, simultaneously satisfying the demands of aerodynamics, strength and technology. In the literature, there are several engineering analytic-graphic methods for the design and checking of the geometry of the axial-radial impeller. By using adequate CAD application software and numerical modelling, one of these is automated and the resultes of the design are given in the paper. The set algorithm is intended for CAM.
