Sažetak
The work analyzes the trends and the structure of passenger transport in the traffic system of Croatia with special focus on the absolute and relative structure per transport modes. The analysis is based on the statistical data on the transport demand in public passenger transit, i.e. transport operation in certain traffic subsystems. Absolute and relative values of transport performance and the trends of structure change have been determined, as well as the trends of change in the structure of total transport performance. The calculation of the respective determination coefficient has determined the level of statistical significance of the studied traffic values for the considered period of time. The prognostic trend model for passenger transport performance in the traffic system of the Republic of Croatia has been elaborated and new technical and technological solutions of demand management through ITS implementation have been suggested.
