Sažetak
We can say that today, the Internet represents the indefinite source of information. The problem arises when the information sought by an individual when necessary is sometimes not available due to the complexity of organization and amount of information available through the web. Information stored in single named databases which are places in uniquely named maps within the web server which we can define with a series of four numbers or with an appropriate symbolic name. Finding the correct page with the help of a URL would be almost impossible when an individual would have to know where the information is located among the abundance of databases of a standard name. Search engines that we often use today enable the user to access large data bases which contain key words and enable finding the same through the URL. The foundation of the search system is in the search agent which collects information so as to place them into the data base. In this paper we will describe basic elements of intelligent agents and the application of those elements on the agent for searching the web and example of artificial intelligence on the search algorithm.
