Sažetak
Since models produced by three-dimensional printing are not so strong when compared to other rapid prototyping technologies, the main objective of research was to determine the influence of selected processing factors on the tensile strength and to determine the combination that provides the highest strength. Test samples were prepared on a 3D printer with variations of layer thickness, building orientation and infiltrant type. The secondary objective was to evaluate application of more affordable alternative infiltrants used instead of genuine infiltrants. Results of tensile test revealed that the strength of 3D printed samples comes mainly from infiltrants but may be additionally increased by selecting the best combination of other two processing factors. Strength of samples infiltrated with alternative infiltrants was equivalent to that obtained with genuine infiltrants thus approving the use of alternative infiltrants.
