Sažetak
For standard ring spun yarn and SiroSpun two-ply yarn of the same yarn count produced by viscose staple fibre evenness was tested and compared. Mass variations and imperfections were measured using the USTER tester. Yarn unevenness is lower for SiroSpun yarn, as well as the number of thick places and neps. SiroSpun yarn also shows less hairiness and lower coefficient of the variation of hairiness. In addition the principle of manufacturing two-ply yarn spun with the SiroSpun method on a standard ring spinning was presented.
