Sažetak
A new genus Adelphella is proposed for Pachyella babingtonii. Molecular, morphological, histochemical and cytological studies, including data obtained through detailed study of living material employing vital taxonomic methods, have shown that it is closely related to Pachyella and Boudiera, but that it can be sufficiently differentiated from them to warrant recognition of a new genus. Adelphella, Pachyella, and Boudiera are similar in ecology, occurring on water-soaked wood or on soil/silt that is periodically flooded.
