Sažetak
A new semiconductor, Al2In12S21, with the energy gap in the green portion of spectrum, was prepared by the modified SSD technique. X-ray diffraction analysis shows that Al2In12S21 belongs to the I41/amd space group (a=7.49 A, c=31.76 A). Photoconductivity and standard optical measurements reveal four peaks located at 2.00, 2.25, 2.38, and 2.58 eV in the fundamental absorption region. The influence of cooper, bismuth, and cadmium dopants on electrical properties of Al2In12S21 crystals are also presented and discussed.
