Sažetak
Pre-accession EU funds are funds of the EU budget intended for non-member countries and candidate countries. Their aim is to facilitate the implementation of political, economic and institutional reforms. In the case of candidate countries, the aim of these EU funds is to facilitate accession to the EU and future use of Structural funds and Cohesion fund . These EU funds have been set up to provide assistance to candidate countries and potential candidate countries in developing institutional, legislative, economic and social platforms in alignment with EU values. The following section provides an overview of the most important EU-funded programmes which are important development resources for candidate countries, including Croatia.
