Sažetak
The paper shows a proposition of metrics for measuring the size of business sector and business software which covers it. It is based on counting the elements of which the observed structures consists. Since the structure of business sector (which is seen as desired structure of business organization involved in the sector) and the structure of business software can be shown by same elements, the suggested metrics can be applied to both structures an the obtained measures are mutually comparable. The article also presents a short overview of existing metrics for measuring the size of business sector and business software, and the application of the metrics on the example of an ERP solution.
