Sažetak
The purpose of our study was to determine if prostate specific antigen (PSA) density (PSAD)could better predict result of 12 core prostate biopsy in men with PSA range 4-10 ng/ml than PSA alone. Results showed that PSAD can be additional help in predicting outcome of prostate biopsy. We propose cut off of 0.15 ng/ml per ml in PSA range 4-10 ng/ml (sensitivity 86.7%, specificity 45.3%, positive predictive value 33.3%, negative predictive value 91.5%).
