Sažetak
The patient started psychiatric treatment in the age of 39, after she had been aggressive towards her colleagues at work. At admission she, was verbally aggressive, suspicious, tensed, and was yelling occasionally. She had delusions of reference and persecution. She said that har colleagues at work were plotting against her. The patient had been treated because of lupus erithemathosus since the age of 26, and one month- before the hospital treatment in psychiatric department the therapy with corticosteroids was initiated. The patient's mother confirmed that the patient started to change two weeks after initiation of therapy with corticosteroids. She started rejecting food occasionally because she thought the food was poisoned. Also, she said that her colleagues at work were plotting against her. The laboratory examination was performed during hospitalization and the values of parameters were in referent ranges. Therapy with olanzapine was 80 initiated in daily dosage of 10 mg in the evening. Also, therapy with corticosteroids was changed according to instructions of specialist of internal medicine who treated the patient because of lupus erithemathosus. The patient mental condition improved gradually. Regular outpatient treatment was initiated after discharge from hospital. The therapy with olanzapine was discontinued after three months.
