Sažetak
The aim of presentation was to provide analytical background on Lisbon and Europe 2020 strategy and its relevance for candidate countries (Croatia in particular) and potential candidates. It was based on the book „From Lisbon Strategy to Europe 2020“ (that V. Samardžija co-edited). The conclusion of presentation is that EU2020 strategy represents strong potential to anchor reforms, facilitate EU accession and meet challenge of good governance in South-Eastern European countries. Furthermore, it underlined the need to develop regional strategy 2020, corresponding to Europe 2020.
