Sažetak
In this article a synchronous machine excitation system with microprocessor based twin-channel voltage regulator is presented. Block diagram of excitation system with digital voltagre regulator and twin-channel voltagre regulator are shown and the main parts of excitation system are briefly described. The responses of characteristic variables of excitation control system of synchronous generator in typical disturbances are presented.
