Sažetak
In the paper are presented the results of therapy of resistant depressions. Under therapeutically resistant depressions are understood the cases previously treated with at least two antidepressants long enough (the shortest period: 3 weeks), and with sufficiently high doses. In therapeutically resistant depressions clomipramine infusion was applied in the initial dose of 25 mg, with gradual increase in dosage up to 100 mg (4 ampules) daily. With this therapy, accompanyed by possible anxiolytic drug or a basal neuroleptic medicament, improvement or good remission was achieved in 79% of patients. Side-effects were registered in only 16% of patients.
