Sažetak
The paper demonstrates the MIRIS methodology. Life cycle phases in development of information systems unfolding over a decade have been shown. The methodology characteristics are: independence from tools for application construction, independence from type and data base generation, the modeling process has been defined with chosen methods, a good and simple linkage has been made between methods, preparation for interviewing is the basis of early phases of planning, a method for data modeling has been expanded with semantically rich concepts, the translation process into a data base relational schema is simple, the planner's working time has been shortened, work has increased for planning team member users.
