Sažetak
Several computing technologies like knowledge-based and expert systems, "soft" computing technologies and object oriented (OO) software development can be used in development and construction of intelligent agents (IA). Object orientation is very important to IA developers because agents can be considered to be encapsulated packages of functionality and data - specialized objects. Moreover, most of the modern agent development environments (Smalltalk, Java, Telescript) and infrastructures (CORBA) are object oriented. OO concepts and principals, as well as AI-related technologies, applied to an agent-base system can facilitate the design and development of intelligent agents. Benefits of agent development available through OO paradigm will be exposed and discussed.
