Sažetak
Relationships are critical to object modelling. On kind of structural connection is whole-part relationship that connects a whole to its parts. It is generally agreed that whole-part relationships (aggregations, compositions) are useful, but unfortunately, the exact semantics differ between object-oriented modelling approaches. In this paper, we will briefly discuss subtypes of whole-part relationship and make comparison between their support offered in both UML and OML in order to propose an alternative metamodelling approach to enhance existing one.
