Sažetak
In last ten years banks and insurance companies intended to offer their clients a full financial service at one place, by developing and introducing bankassurance products. But, contrary to their expectations, the realized results are dimmed by high expenses of the development and implementation of the information systems that are necessary for performing these insurances, and sometimes the costs even exceed realized profit. In other words, planning of the implementation of bankassurance is, for both potential partners, a step in which the possibility of information technology in connecting the existing information systems may play key role, especially on choice of the kinds of insurances or bankassurance products. The existing organization and work technology must be customized consequently. In this work the models of organizing information systems for providing bankassurance are exposed, and the author reviews the possibility of their implementation in Croatia.
