Sažetak
The problem of determining an optimum rotational speed is discussed for a cylindrical mixer, with central axis in cylinder axis. The results disclosed in the theoretical part of this paper indicate that the optimal rotational speed is 76% of the critical number of revolutions. The criterion of optimum conditions was the time of falling of the particles throughout the mixer drum. These results are in accordance with the data given for commercial ball mills.
