Sažetak
Abstract A computer network system for a dynamic interactive organisation and monitoring of high fashion garment production has been presented, the production being characterised by small work orders and number of patterns and colorus, with a lot of fashion details. The system requires at least 7 personal computers in network, in a peer-to-peer or client/server network environment, under 32-bit operative systems, such as Windows 95 or Windows NT. An original organisation model of connecting all the production phases has been presented, featuring garment fashion design, technical preparation, production processes, raw material warehouse and finished goods warehouse, in some 29 programme modules and a number of professional data bases. Experiences and technical solutions accumulated through the use of 15 systems installed in garment manufacturing plants all over Croatia have also been presented.
