Sažetak
Abstract
The methods of planning the process of cutting in garment industry, as a means of attaining optimal organisation of work and materials savings, are presented. Conventional planning procedure for cutting is described, as well as the procedure of automatic planning with simultaneous computerised optimisation and the procedure of interactive planning developed by the authors. Interactive planning combines the advantages of conventional planning and computer planning with simultaneous optimisation, and can be effectively used by clothing producers in smaller countries, lacking the financial means to invest in expensive and sophisticated CIM cutting equipment.
