Sažetak
As a part of the project Preservation of biological diversity in the Adriatic Sea, which is created to promote a special protection of selected area along the Croatian Adriatic coast, the climatic conditions and climatic variability in the future marine parks have been analysed. The main meteorological elements (air temperature, precipitation, relative humidity, insolation duration, cloudiness, wind and occurrences of dew, fog, hail and thunder) on the nearest meteorological stations have been analysed. The analysis is based on the data of the Rovinj station for the future marine park of the islands of Vrsar, the Pula station for the external islands of Medulin, the Cres station for Veli and Mali Ćutin and the Senj and Rab stations for Goli, Prvić and Grgur. There are climatological stations on the islands of Silba and Palagruža and their data have been used for this purpose. In order to establish the climatic variations of temperature air, relative humidity, precipitation and insolation duration, the linear trends have been analysed in the future marine parks. It is shown that each of six locations of the future marine parks is specific considering the wind, thermal or precipitation regimes. According to linear trend analyses and the nonparametric Mann- Kendall test, the existence of a significant linear trend relative humidity of air (decreasing chronology) has been established in the annual values. A tendency towards a decrease in precipitation amount and increase in insolation duration has also been observed and it could have a negative influence on the land-island flora and fauna.
