Sažetak
A total of 4, 157 chub mackerel specimens were collected from January 1998 to December 2008 (10.1<LF<39.1cm ; mean 23.8±4.68cm, 8.90<W<804.50g ; mean 164.49±102.70g). Females were significantly predominant (♂/♀=0.68). The length-weight relationships was W=0.0052 LF 3, 2238 (r2=0.969). Monthly changes of gonad maturity stages, weight of gonads and the gonadosomatic index showed that spawning of chub mackerel in the middle Adriatic Sea occurred from April to September. The results showed that chub mackerel reached L50 at 18.3 cm: males at 16.8 cm and females at 20.4 cm.
