Sažetak
Researching attitudes and motivational factors of students of the University of Zagreb on how they spend their holidays is an interesting and important issue that has hitherto not been subject of any research. Students are not only present but also future consumers of "tourism product" and some of them will be creating Croatian tourism product in the future. In order to gather useful information for creation of relevant tourism product we undertook convenient sample research and used survey method. Results obtained conclusively indicate that researching attitudes and motivational factors of student population can be of great use in the creation of relevant Croatian tourism product and its repositioning on the European market.
