Sažetak
The aim of this study was to evaluate language development in children with perinatal hypoxic -ischemic and haemorrhagic UCNSLs diagnosed by ultrasonography (US) and estimate relations with early and late US findings. Language disorders were found in 24 of 44 children with early UCNSLs. Language disorders correlate with the type and the extend of UCNSLs, and particularly with structural changes of perinatal brain damage diagnosed by ultrasonography.
