Sažetak
The chapter reviews minimum wage system in Croatia, examines its implications and relate it to collective bargaining practice. It describes recent minimum wage policy and explains fixing mechanisms in the previous and the new minimum wage setting. It also looks at minimum wage development within general wage trends and investigates the effects of the minimum wage on poverty, wage disparities, employment, collective bargaining. Two case studies are presented, one on collective bargaining implications and the other on minimum wage issues in the clothing industry.
