Sažetak
The possibility of transfer printing silk with basic dyes has been investigated. Suitable thickeners and additives that build printing paste were chosen. The thickeners were based on sodium alginate, CMC and crystal gum. Before the preparation of transfer paper, the printing pastes were preliminary investigated to determine their viscosity and their microscopic photographs were also taken, which made the investigation of their morphological structure possible. The dyes chosen were based on oxazine (C.I.Basic Blue 3) and triphenilmethane (C.I.Basic Green 4). The investigation of dyestuff evaporation from the film prepared was carried out at temperature 160 oC and 200 oC.It was shown that the thickeners based on combination of crystal gum and sodium alginate, as the carrier of dyestuff and additives at transfer paper, ensure the transfer paper for printing with basic dyes will is in agreement with physical laws. Transfer paper for printing silk shows the required acceptability. Silk fabric treated with a bath containg 1% ammonium sulfate at the temperature 160 oC as 200 oC shows better results.
