Sažetak
The use of ionic liquid as reaction media for immobilized Candida antartica lipase B catalyzed synthesis of isoamyl acetate was investigated. For this purpose, a wide range of di- and trisubstituted imidazolium-based ILs containing bis[(trifluoromethane)sulfonyl]imide and hexafluorophosphate anion were prepared. Water-immiscible ILs containing [Tf2N] anion appeared to be suitable media for the proposed reaction, with values of enzyme activity and conversion comparable to classical organic solvent, n-heptane. The highest activity and overall yield was achieved in 1-heptyl-2, 3-methylimidazolium bis[(trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl]imide, [hpdmim][Tf2N]. This IL was used to study continuous flow synthesis of isoamyl acetate in miniaturized reactor packed with immobilized Candida antarctica lipase B.
