Sažetak
This paper presents and briefly discusses finite deformation elasto-plastic constitutive formulation that assumes concept of multiplicative decomposition of deformation gradient, using total logarithmic strain measure and hyperelastic relation of constitutive equation for stress. This formulation is implemented into an updated Lagrangian formulation of nonlinear motion. To achieve quadratic convergence in full Newton-Raphson procedure symmetric tangent elasto-plastic constitutive tensor is derived. The main characteristics of the developed algorithm are examined and compared with those obtained using hypoelastic constitutive formulation on one plain strain element in finite elasto-plastic response.
