Energy is intrinsically local sector – competitiveness of labour is not crucial. Provides employment year around and it can be harmonized with the needs of tourist sectors. Green image attracts high quality tourists. Bigger part of added value stays locally. Provides opportunity for a more balanced and not so seasonally dependent economy.
