Sažetak
Cluster analysis is performed on all winter forecasts of a set of 16 ensembles. When the forecasts were categorised into three clusters, it was found that the skill is better than that of ensemble mean. However this more skilful group of forecasts does not always correspond to the most populated ensemble. This may be associated with the sampling problem.
