Sažetak
The Integrated Health Information Strategy consists of five parts. The first sets out a broad and high-level vision for an optimal health information system, looking at requirements from a user’s perspective while considering the vision in the context of current realities and developments, both at national and international level. In the second and third parts of the Strategy, the premises for the application of ICT and Health Information System Architecture are described. In the fourth part of the document, Initiatives, the central issues and actions required to progressively realise the vision are described. The final part looks at the requirements for implementation including the roles of the various players, the resource implications, the critical path and the suggested time frame. A detailed chart of the action plan with priorities, deliverables and responsibilities forms the last chapter of the Strategy.
