Sažetak
This paper explores the principles of applying the Monte Carlo method to the stochastic load flow. A simple CD-model of the power system is used for illustration. All formulae needed to derive the results are given in the first part of the paper. The algorithm is implemented in an object-oriented computer program designed for power system planning and development. The results are calculated on a hypothetical 36-node network, a typical medium-sized 400 kV network, presented and discussed.
