Sažetak
Quality management represents a very important part of modern business, wherein the quality recognition, as a result of the increasing business competition, becomes the major function of the company. In order to enable the customer to permanently get a quality product, it is necessary to implement and establish the system of quality management, which is convenient for the product profile of the company. After the introductory part, wherein the aspects of the influence of the establishment of the quality system on the commercial positioning of the production company are being discussed, a brief overview of the requirement of the international standard ISO 9001 is given in the resumption “The quality management system”. Afterwards the process of implementing the quality management system is described by going through an example, from the planing-process to the certification. In order to make the connection of the course of the production process and the progress of the implementation of the quality management system supported by the information system, even more transparent, in the sequel of this paper the progress of the production of tools for wood treatment is described by going through the example of a profile milling tool without axial angle. Afterwards each stage of both processes has been analysed and the sections, in which the positive impact of the application of the information quality management system is transparent, have been detected. After the implementation of the above-described processes, a detailed analysis of the obtained results indicates to the conclusion that the establishment of the business information system of the companies is an essential requirement for an effective implementation of the quality management system. The expected results of the implementation of the quality management system are: easier application, reduction of the period of implementation and the amount of the accompanying documentation as well as human errors. Everything listed is a confirmation of the advantage of the implementation of the information quality management system, whose result are mutual connected data as well as integrated business processes, wherewith both functional and process connection within the company itself and business connection with the provider and customers are being achieved. In the last, concluding part of my work there is an assessment of the cost-effectiveness of the implementation of the information quality management system into a production company given. There are also given guidelines for the application of the described procedures and suggestions, which I can use in my work as a groundwork for professionals, who are or will be responsible for the implementation, application and improvement of the quality management system within a company by usage of the information quality management system.
