Sažetak
Behavior of photochromic 1′, 3′-Dihydro-8-methoxy-1′, 3′, 3′-trimethyl-6-nitrospiro[2H-1-benzopyran-2, 2′-(2H)-indole] dye under influence of solvents of different polarity was investigated (ethylacetate, acetone). Solutions of different dye concentrations were exposed to UV-A, UV-B and combined UV-A/UV-B source of light in order to determine behaviour of prepared solutions to different irradiation wavelengths. Based on spectrophotometrical measurement solution exhibiting greatest absorbance differences between irradiated by UV and visible light were used to dye PA substrate. PA textile substrates were dyed according to the process of exhaustion dyeing for disperse dyestuff. Dyeing was carried out from dyebaths prepared by dissolving the dye in acetone or ethyl acetate with the addition of dispersing agents. Spectral values of dyed samples were gathered on remission spectrophotometer considering the influence of exposure time to source of UV light (UV-A). Obtained K/S values were in correlation to concentration of examined nitrospirobenzopyran dye and time in which the color change caused by an UV light source persists on material upon removal of the light source.
