Sažetak
The authors conducted an investigation into changes in the structure, electrical conductivity and mechanical properties of a copper-tungsten composite, depending on the content of tungsten. The composite is obtained by the electron beam physical vapour deposition (EB-PVD) technique. New morphological peculiarities of the condensed composite that cause changes in the material properties are found. The conditions for the formation of structural defects are studied along with their effect on the mechanical properties and fracture behaviour during tensile tests.
