Summary:
This work discuss about transitional changes within the context of changes in the educational processes focussing on adult education in Croatia. Croatia, as well as other post-socialist countries in transition, has been going through a series of socio-economic, managerial, administrative, political, educational and other changes, among which the social structure and the system of values, which have a direct impact upon the changes in the educationl field, are extremely interesting. The paper also presented partial results of Adult education in Croatia based upon social and professional changesť , a research project currently carried out at the Faculty of Philosophy in Rijeka.
