Sažetak
Spontaneous precipitation in the system CaCl2- SrCl2-H3PO4-NaOH-H2O-0.15M NaCl at initial pH 7.4 and 310 K has been investigated. The presence of strontium ions caused stabilization of the first born amorphous precipitate and delayed its transformation via octacalcium-phosphate-like structure into cation deficient apatites. Precipitates aged for 24 h and 30 days were characterized by means of chemical analyses, X-ray diffraction pattern and electron microscopy. The content of strontium in the solid phase depends on the initial reactant concentrations. The isomorphous replacement of calcium by strontium in calcium deficient apatites, forming the solid solutions, was found.
