Sažetak
The paper deals with the problem of verification of weather forecasts through contingency tables. For example, persistent forecast discuss the weaknesses of some recently proposed verification measures. Since no single measure can capture all the features of forecasting systems, even when that system is introduced in contingency tables, it is proposed to simultaneously use three different sizes, and association, bias (U.S. bias) and the climatological frequency.
