Sažetak
In this paper we introduce a computer system performance evaluation based on time dependent behaviour of the corresponding queueing model. A real-time computer system aimed at Supervisory, Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) applications is considered and its main performance indicators are identified. The system is mapped into a queueing model whose transient aand stationary state parameters can be evaluated by the presented software-hardware measurement method. The workload is emulated by a Poisson process, generated by pseudo-random time interval sequences. The method is validated on a simple and analytically well explored queueing system.
