Sažetak
Looking from european and particularly global point of wiew, "Željezara Sisak" seems to be relatively small company, but its trademark is well-known all over the world. During the war in Croatia "Željezara Sisak" has managed to survive, moreover, it has developed into a modern company whose products meet very strict requirenebts pf quality standards so that the copmpany obtained ISO 9001 license in 1994.
The first electron microscope ever used in Croatia was the one bought in "Željezara Sisak" in 1976. That was a turning point for the development of electron microscopy in Croatia.
