Sažetak
The Late Iron Age in northern Croatia was marked by two communities, the Scordisci, settled in eastern Slavonia as the western part of their territory, and the Taurisci, who inhabited north-western Croatia as the eastern area of their settlement, while they had their centre in the ore-rich area of southeast Alps. The Scordisci and the part of the Taurisci that inhabited central Podravina took over from the autochthonous Pannonian population certain types and techniques of decoration of costume and jewellery pieces known in the frame of the Late Hallstatt group of south Pannonia. The best testemony to the incorporation of the autochthonous communities into the Scordisci and the Taurisci are the characteristic hand-made ceramic forms such as kantharoi and bowls/cups, found in the largest number at the Middle La Tene cemetery in Zvonimirovo in central Podravina.
