Sažetak
A novel polymeric membrane ISE based on S, S`- bis(2-aminophenyl)oxalate (H2L) as new ionophores and sodium tetraphenylborate (NaTBP) as an anionic excluder in the plasticized PVC membranes for determination of copper (II) is described. The electrode exhibits a slope of 29.5 mV per decade in a linear range 8 × 10-5- 8 × 10-3 M for Cu2+ ion, with detection limit of 4 × 10-5 M. Sensor can be used in pH range of 4-8. The potentiometric selectivity coefficient value ( ) as determinated by fixed interference method indicate excellent selectivity for Cu2+ ions over interfering cations. Influence of, different component ratio, and different plasticizer were study for obtaining a sensor with optimal response characteristic for determination of copper(II) in water sample in wide pH range.
