Sažetak
Multianual activities in implementation of the UNESCO’s Convention (2003) will be discussed according to experiences gathered in the Commission for Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) within the Ministry of Culture of Republic of Croatia. These experiences on the national level are supplemented with some others through work on UNESCO’s expert meetings, membership in the Intergovernmental Committee of the Convention, its Bureau, and several workshops for capacity building. It will be discussed about the main goals of the Convention, about development of the positions and notions, about questions raised through the application and problems in implementation. The aim is to show different perspectives and visions of the participants in the process of implementation on a very concrete examples, choice of the Croatian Commission for ICH, and the success of inscription on the Representative List of the Convention. Different possibilities offered by the Convention will be discussed as well, with the accent on multinational nominations and the need of joint agreements and common appearance.
