Sažetak
Incidence of stomach cancer is most commonly associated with different environmental effects, bad dietary elements and detrimental habits. There is not enough evidence on the effects of stress, as a component of managerial profession, on the stomach cancer incidence. Incidence and mortality were analyzed and compared between the general population in Osijek-baranya county and the managerial population (N=685). Examination was conducted over a five-year period: 2003-2008. Average annual incidence in general population was 24, 5 and in menagerial population 24, 6. Average annual mortality in general population was 22, 8 and in menagerial population 22, 6. No statistically significant difference in incidence and mortality between the general and managerial population was established.
